Where to buy oil filter conversion
« on: 09 March 2010, 22:45:13 »

Hi all,   as per title. I have PM'd the member who wrote the how too guide, but a mate is in need of the threaded pipe to convert his and we have no idea where to get it from. Is it a dealer part?
Many thanks,
  Al

I simply telephoned and asked the local Vx dealer`s parts chap to order the threaded nipple (quoting the part number); a day or two later it was available for collection.....`cost just a couple of pounds.

Many thanks, just wanted to check it will be from dealer. I know what they can be like selling cheap repair parts instead of the correct expensive bit.

Mate was trying to get cap off his and the whole housing turns a few mm and then everthing stops moving. He doesn't want to break it without having spares ready just in case.
