I had a similar problem for absolutely ages. In the end it is a problem with the heater matrix. Only found that out when I spotted water dripping from the a pipe above the auto gearbox. Proved it was within the car by dissing the heater matrix by inserting a short length of copper pipe in the heater cct matrix in and out pipes. Once you get the "quick release " connectors undone it is fairly easy to put a 4 inch bit of 15 mm copper plumbing pipe in. Mine has been running like that for a couple of weeks now while the replacement rad from Partsbuy arrives.

On both my Omegas corrosion has eaten away at the outside of the coolant transfer pipe where the radiator top hose fits.

The resulting pitting means that the hose doesn't really seal properly & the position of the transfer pipe makes it difficult to inspect. :(

Had a look today... There seems to be a little evidence of a leak at the HBV so advised changing it whilst stripped down for cam covers.

Then keep an eye on it. Other possibility is that the new WP (recently fitted) isn't seated properly :-/ :-/

Got the new HBV sitting on the back seat already...chap has put the job off till Tuesday

Hopefully once the top's off...he'll find the leak.

Not the end of the world though as long as its not dripping on to the dispack. THAT cost me a fortune with my previous mig.
