Following the issues with the EML light being on – codes 302 and 300 appearing and the miggy noticeably misfiring earlier this month … and then the EML going off and the misfire disappearing….. I thought I’d check to see what codes are now stored now that I had a chance to get at the car…
 
The same 300 and 302 codes are on there (twice!) but also what at the very end was a 202 code….
 
Anyone have some advice as to what this could relate too (I understnad that it's an injector voltage fault) – I don’t want to go changing the coil pack while the misfire is gone in case it’s something to do with the injectors.. and the 202 code…?
 
How common are injector issues with the miggy and what should I check to try to erradicate the 202 code?

Check the plug is clean and fully home on #2 injector :y

Thanks Welung - by plug I'm guessing you mean spark plug....? Nothing to do with the fuel injector?

No not the (spark) plug, I mean the lead to injector on pot number 2.

Ok, will do, is pot 2 the one nearest the scuttle at the back ... Or the one at the front?

I can't think why it would be loose... Ifits all tight and snug, what else can I check/do while  down there?

Front right.

I agree, check the injector plug.....some mechanics dont find the large multiway connector for the injector loom and remove each individual injector connector when removing the inlet....these are not easy to fit back on successfuly without care and can be left loose....they then work there way off!

Easy enough to check, just pop the plenum off

Thanks mark, hopefully get round to it shortly. Would the injectors/plugs have had to be removed when the cam cover gaskets were done... (I can't remember off the top of my head if that would have been the case...)?
