Prop shaft centre bearing question
« on: 08 April 2010, 16:21:59 »

I need to replace the centre bearing before it breaks completely

is the 2.2 diesel prop shaft the same length/size as the 2.2 petrol, also is it recommended to replace the whole prop inc bearing or just the bearing alone

any help would be great :)

last time i bought one it was a matter of seperating the two halves, then driving off the old one and replacing with the new, total time including removal and replacement was just over 2 hours, it comes with the rubber support, done two or three and never had to do them again, do  mark on the two halves tho so it is in the same alignment when put back together,
you will need a good quality vice though on a strong bench!!
