Hi all, does anyone have experience of the Vx alarm system as fitted to the Omega. I was just wondering if the alarm system can be easily disconnected/removed. I believe there is a power sounder with a back-up battery which is activated if the battery is dis-connected as an anti-theft protection device. I assume this would have to be removed as the back-up batteries would dis-charge once disconnected.

Any info. appreciated.

Power sounder is a major source of problems .. and if it fails it can., rarely though, lead to fires !!  have a read here ..

Main alarm I know nothing about, don't think it can be "removed" ..... :(
