Replacement head bolts
« on: 10 May 2010, 20:32:09 »

Hi there, I have been removing the heads on my car cos the belt slipped, and want to know if new head bolts are mandatory or can I re-use the old ones.  Also my new heads have come with 3ltr cams, are these worth fitting? Thanks in advance.

Fit the 3.0 cams and you MUST use new head bolts.

I use Trechii off ebay for headgaskets and bolts (good price).

Then its Vx for cam cover gaskets, coolant bridge seals, coolant pipe seal and exhaust manifold and front pipe gaskets.

Re-use your cam seals

Hi Robson, I paid £14 + £7.50 for delivery. I have used Trechii before (infact have same as a saved seller in my favourites sellers on Ebay!) Cheers for now.
