Hi all im thinking of buying a 2.5 TD GLS 1998 and i don’t think it has cruise control, is it difficult to add this feature what parts would be required, would tech2 be needed

Dead easy, a 2 wire stalk is all you need. Nought else.

Note, most Omegas use a different 4 wire stalk.

does it have to come off a diesel car or will any do is there nothing that goes under the bonnet as ive seen some cc box forsale on here in the past

Has to come off another 2.5TD Omega. Better still, buy one (approx £40), as 2nd hand ones tend not to last.  Absolutley nothing else needed on 2.5TD

Yep, just fit the stalk and it's done.
