older engines with ICV can stall easily if its not working right.

You need to get the codes read, most likely cam or crank sensor is failing  :y

Maybe a good idea if you put in your profile the area you live in.  Maybe someone could suggest where you can access to someone with a code reader if you don't have one yourself ?.

ok iv had this on out 2.2  fist look at air filter if need to be repliced as they are alittel sensitive to an old cloged one

then look at breather pipes that run from rocker cover cloging maily thers a small one that runs to back of throtell asebly and carbons up very fast have to cler min ever year
now you may find the barss pip that run in to asbbly solid i used a very small drill bit and car clener to cler spar carb clener and leve to soften up and abou a 1 to 1.5 mm bit turned by finger to slowly pull crap out of hole

ther a good sign to see if bloked on this pip you may notice an oily rinf roun ait intake on top of throtell body

other than that ther the idel valve wich may be playing up
un less you engin light as come on ther will bo code stored for this as when min did this have looked
but since iv been keeping these bit cler and clen not done and idels beter as well
