Right then, rather than ranting about how bad things are, why not put a positive spin on how good things are in the UK compared to other parts of the world.
We are lucky to live in a country where:
- There is virtually no poverty.
- The police force is not corrupt and can be trusted to treat the innocent fairly and the guilty with respect.
- Every person has access to good health care which isn't based on your ability to pay.
- All children are entitled to free education from the age of 5 to 18, again not based on the ability to pay.
- Our roads are still better than those in many parts of the world.
- It is English which is the international language of business and commerce. Not any other language.
- We aren't plagued by snakes, poisonous spiders or other lethal creatures
- We will have the opportunity, in a couple of years time to get rid of this government and vote in a new one.
- We are entitled to say what we like about the current government without the fear that we will be imprisoned, tortured or killed for our opinions.
Our country isn't perfect but then again nowhere is. However, it is our country and we should be proud of what we've got. If we're not then don't expect anyone else to be.
Finally, if this country was so bad, why would there be so many immigrants rushing to our borders every day of the year.

poverty in this country is doing very well & from what i have seen it is a growth industry
the police service may be as good as you say, so why do PCSO's get paid more than uniformed officers
everyone has access to the NHS providing you are not overweight, you do not drink alcohol, dont smoke & the postcode lottery does not apply to you,then & only then will you be allowed to get MRSA or C,DIFF & not untill. You do have the choice of private health care but may not opt out of paying for the NHS
seems to me nowdays school children learn what they want & ignore what could be beneficial to them in later life & should be allowed to play with guns
our roads are so good they put humps on them slowing traffic to such a level that nothing moves & everyone wonders why they have some form of breathing problems which hopefully the NHS can sort out & if the roads are not wide enough they put in bus lanes anyway
english is spoken on money markets as London is regarded as the financial capital of the world & we are too pig ignorant to speak to them in their native tonge
we have adders & some spiders which can ruin your day
yes we can vote for some other party but they all have their noses in the trough, i'm ok Jack pull up the ladder
we can say what we like about them, & while we are not killed or beaten to death & they take no notice of us until the days leading up to an election, then they TAX us to death
immigrants only come here cos we provide them with the best opportunities to ponce money off the state so they can send it home or get involved in drugs, prostitution & if they are illegal immigrants i'm sure the home office will employ them in national security positions somewhere in this green & pleasant land, maybee even loose track of them
