you can turn it into a combine harvester given enough cash, but i think you'll find its cheaper and easier to just by a combine harvester in the first place. ::)

that's the kind of thing that I do....

converting this to Diesel would be possible, but it would take a lot of time to do properly. a good estimate for the work would be in the region of £3K (labour only). Consider what you'd need.....

to find an engine in decent condition.
have it chipped to get any useful performance
remove the current engine, underbonnet wiring and the fuel system, together with the in-car wiring that supports the fuel system (dash out to do properly)
retro-fit the fuel system, transmission including ECU/electrical system.
retro-fit the engine and ancillaries, etc
convert to drive-by-throttle cable
probably re-engineer the ABS/Traction Control to accept the non DBW signal
you'd also need a new wiring loom drawing up
and then there's convincing DVLA that it's all kosher

there are easier jobs.

If you've already got a wheesel donor car it won't be to hard to do but I still wouldn't do it. If you buy the Elite then I would suggest LPG is the route to follow ;)
