« on: 25 May 2009, 21:50:36 »

Hi there all, as I've heard good things about this forum I hope you can help. S reg 2.5 CD petrol wont fire up unless its in the mood when cold. New battery with plenty of power. AA say its probably crank shaft sensor as rev counter not moving while cranking. However, no problem starting once jump started. Any clues please????

Sorry for not answering before. Thanks very much for your help. Ended up changing Crankshaft sensor, coil pack, plugs & leads and ran perfectly. Even did the rocker cover gaskets while I was at it. Thanks again.
