Spare key does not works. Any ideas?
« on: 31 May 2010, 07:37:41 »

I have two keys for my miggy and i use whichever key i lay my hands onn. As opposed to using only one key and keeping thhe other as a spare.
Frm yesterday one key does open or close the car remotely, but will open door manually and works on the ignition. I swapped battery with the good key...but it still does not work. What can i do to fix it?

Try page 53 http://homepage.ntlworld.com/andrew.reynolds983/Manuals/Omega2002Manual.pdf Synchronizing remote control it could the the battery connections have failed so has disconnected the battery from the pcb inside the key. Martin Imber can normally fix it but you're not exactly local  ;)  :y
