How does the Scuttle cover come off?
« on: 31 May 2010, 23:57:15 »

I want to remove mine to have a general look see and tidy up - I have found the flap for pollen filter (not looking like its been changed since the car was new :-)  but seems like the other end needs removing to get the entire cover off. Which procedure covers removing it? Thanks

Thanks mate, but this procedure covers unblocking the drains, which I have done. As above,  I would like to remove the plastic covers entirely (if thats possible) so I can access the area under them. Is there a procedure part of which covers removing them, or is it as simple as the one bolt on the drivers side, and tugging ! Thanks

torx bolt drivers side, then get small flat head screw driver, and lift up the plastic where joins the windscreen on the scuttle side, underneath are about 10 plastic lugs, rotate those, then it will come off
