Alarm Problems
« on: 08 June 2010, 21:21:41 »

Hi all, I thought I would share this with you.

I recently had a fault with my alarm becoming activated for no apparent reason.  I did a scan and no fault was found.  This happend over a period of a couple of days.  Yesterday my daughter said she had left her mobile in my centre consol on Saturday, can I get it for her.  Guess what, no more alarm problems.  Put the phone back in the centre console. alarm activates again.  I never would have guessed that a mobile phone could set it off, even though the phone was not ringing or receiving texts.

Interesting....! My estate alarm would go off for no apparent reason, eventually became so bad had to leave the car unlocked.... :o   Turned out to be one of the pane-breaks that was slightly damaged. In damp and wet weather contact was made, but when the glass dried out......... :'(
