Handbrake light

Can anyone tell me were the switch is for the handbrake light as mines packed up i thought it might be an easy fix by changing the bulb but as usual with my luck it wasn`t

Always on or always off....if always on then check you have enough brake fluid.

its off mate doesnt even check when you turn ign on

All but one of the ex police Omega's I've had never had a working handbrake light. It would be interesting to find a common cause.
