Level sensor on left wish bone?
« on: 09 July 2010, 22:09:12 »

Hello, just changed my wishbones today and on the left one there was a small rod (2-3") with two ball joints connected to some kind of sensor. I don't know what it is, maybe some kind of level sensor, I changed it over to the new one and connected it back up anyway. Does anyone know what this is? 2000 (W) 3.0 Elite, thanks!

Hmmm, you don't mention the warning on the display "headlight field of vision" or something like?

Sorry mis read, yes sensor reads car attitude in conjunction with similar sensor on rear trailing arm. Adjusts head light angle accordingly. Legal requirement.
