Have you gone the whole hog - mirrors etc?  Or did you fit mv6 seats to your elite?

i got the same problem but i aint got memory seats.i cant even get inthe car after missus albs has been driving it.i am considering getting 2 blocks of wood and a tube of no more nails and then telling her to leave my bloody seat alone, anyway on a different subject ihave two questions that i have been meaning to ask "the boy"...1 is it a zx10 or a zx10r that you ride when your having a break from your normal routine as an omega addict.  2  i know that you lend your v6 cam locking tool to members with 500 or more posts,as i am a long way (about 490) off that i was wondering if you hire them to members with less postings ?

....
the auto-dip on the passenger side mirror for reverse parking.

I used my brothers 7 series the other day & I found that to be a bit of a pain really. I didn't want to look at the ground & wanted to look at the car behind me - there was something bleeping at me too!!!  ::)

It's easy enough to disable, just leave the mirror adjuster switched onto the passenger side and it won't dip. I sometimes do this if I'm parking into a car park with side by side bays, but for parallel parking next to the kerb it's a great feature to get right next to the kerb without scratching my wheels. Wish more cars had it.

The easy solution is to not give your keys to anyone else.... works for me, hence why I never use memory function :D

It took me all my time to make the car move! D N R is a little indictor like stalk - foot on the brake again to get the bugger to start! Parking brake is an electric button! A very, very, nice car but you need to drive it more than every now & then. The hand book must be the size of War & Peace.  ;D

Me? Nope... and never will be as long as I get my way :D

I'm very much a party animal, and a bit of a petrol head in my spare time, neither of which are particularly compatible with that whole "family" thing 8-)

If it seems strange being that I'm on an Omega forum, I bought one because it's cheap, reasonable performance with RWD and manual gearbox = some nice sideways action. Beats the 18 MPG my BMW gets, and the rear tyres are much cheaper too ;)

Thankfully mine is nothing like that.... it may have about 15 ECUs scattered around the car for various purposes, but very few of them have anything to do with the driving experience. Get in, start it up just like any other "normal" car, and drive it just like any other. Optionally on roundabouts drop down to 2nd gear and give a sharp prod on the gas pedal to go round sideways ;) Oh there is one computer you have to defeat first before that can be done... press the "DSC" button next to the gear stick, job done :)

Ah for the old-skool pre-Bangle BMWs when they were designed to be driven. I think if I need a sensible, but fast car in future it will be an E39 M5, last of the M-cars that you can just drive.

Us old 'uns were taught how to parallel parks without gimicky aids....
