Hi wot is the best oil for my 2.2 manual gearbox and axle  and how much do i need
i was told i need a light 80 gear oil

Hi Sport, best stuff to use is gen VX stuff for the gearbox. Its not very expensive (Think its about £4.50 a ltr with trade card) you will need 2 bottles. its very thin and red. if you use a thicker oil you may get gear change problems. it doesnt like mixing so flush out the old before you refill.
