3.0 were available as manual, 3.2 were not....

All the performance gained by chipping it has been lost to the extra weight of all the silicone shine spray used on the engine, the interior, the wheels etc.

Agreed, it's the quickest retail Omega available, obviously the 3.2 manual is marginally quicker but those are ex-police spec only :(

The quoted 0-60 time is quite easy to beat too ;)

The 0-60 will be under 7.5 in reality.  My auto can easily achieve 7.8s...

I will always miss it, in some respects. It was smooth, powerful, fast and beautiful.

On the other hand, it was driving me nuts with the expense of it.

That's what alfas are supposed to do, and at least I can say I've tried one. :)

The really strange thing is, if I saw another...in good nick...with all the jobs done  AAARRRGGGHHHH  :o
