cheers very kind of you,to be honest i really want the car at home asap dont like the thought of it being sat there for a long period,is there any whileuwait places who sell and program the chips, anyway im going to get on the phone nice and early try and source one locally so i can pick it up and hopefully programed all in the same day.dont fancy driving from manchester to huddersfeild to crawl about on a car park its a losing battle i think.had to move the car off the carpark to the train station as its illegal to leave on a services carpark apparently!

That's an expensive lesson learnt mate :(
When you get your new chip sorted, put a couple of drops of superglue into the fixing slot of the key fob  :y
