roof rack

hello all..i need a roof rack for my omega to transport ladders etc and was wondering which would be the best ones and place to get them..and also what sort of price they go for?...not wanting to mangle paint on roof :o....tia kev :y

Second Thule, as far as I can see most makers rebadge their racks for their own brand roof racks.
Good quality, seem to withstand loading well beyond the recommended limits the car makers set for the cars (ahem).
Try ebay, most racks don't actually get much use so generally a good buy.
I bought a Halfords rack this way for my Audi and that also turned out to be a Thule...don't know if that still be the case these days.

I use a £20 Halfords budget roof rack on my saloon, and its fine.  It dosn't mark the paintwork and I've strapped alsorts to it including my long 3 section ladder with no problems. :y :y :y
