Evening guys
                     I need some help, I believe the shaft on the power steering pump has broken, its making alot of noise and unable to steer car.
  I've been looking at the how to's but i cannot find any advice on replacing the pump can anyone help  :'( :'(

If the shaft had broken then the 'fan belt' would have fallen off.  ;) The pump could be goosed  but I'd be very surprised if the drive shaft was broken.  :y

bottom pulley being fubard can give this symptom, Ive replaced 2 on different cars, both had lumpy steering til sorted.

Sorry, I know you drive a CDX but i don't know if that's a V6 or not!

My steering was heavy even after i did my abs ecu, changed the fluid a few times, took out for a run then was fine! (Not making noise anymore)

Hi guys
          Thanks for coming back, ok not a shaft but some sort of bearing, their is major play in the front pulley after taking the fan belt of , checked the three bolts fine, steering has totally gone can only be this surely, thanks geoffr 70 for finding the how to  :y

Ah! I see what you mean now.  ;) You need a 'new' pump  ;)
As per the how to, changing a pump isn't difficult, just a bit messy.  :y  :y  :y
