washer level

hi all
think my 2.5 is getting jealous of the time i'm spending on the plod and has decided to throw up wash level low onto the display even though it is full  :( has the washer bottle got a float switch or something similar that i can look at to see if it is stuck ??

passenger side of washer bottle. Easier with bumper off

I think it means removing the front bumper to get enough access to the washer bottle to remove the float switch.  :(

hmmm not such an easy job then  :'( but then again what is  :( just a quick one while i am in the warm and not freezing taking bumper off----do you have to remove headlining to fit roof rails on the estate?
