I would like to know how its that done and with some pics please where to remove the pipes. on max left or right i get a crouching noise and i would like to start first with the steering fluid (dexron II)

Easiest way would be to suck all the fluid out of the reservoir with a fluid extractor, replace with fresh, run the engine for a minute or two, then repeat a couple of times.

Alternatively, disconnect the return line from the reservoir, place in a bottle and run the engine until fresh fluid comes out.

I'd just syphon out what you can from the reservoir, top up with new fluid, run the engine, turn the steering lock to lock. Repeat till the fluid in the reservoir is clear(er)

thank you for your advice. i will get it out with a seringe because i have the bad habbit of breaking things when i dismantle them  . i have 2 bottles of castrol tq d and it should be  enough

Jack up the front end so the tyres are clear of the ground before you start or the lock to lock will put flat spots on your tyres

in autodata it says it is 1,3 liters but i guess with a seringe i will be draining about 6-700grams . i will emty the bottle,fill it up with fresh fluid, start the car, go from lock to lock then drain agan and fill it up with fresh fluid.


p.s. @Welung666 what are flat spots on the tyres??

A "flat spot" is where one part of the tyre is flat, instead of all of it being round / circular.

Image the capital letter 'D' rotated anti-clockwise 90 degrees. That is what a flat spotted tyre would look like.

Drain the header tank and fill with fresh fluid.

Disconnect the return pipe and place into an empty container.

Run the engine and top up the header tank as required until the fluid going into the empty container changes colour.

i'm afraid to disconect the return pipe because i might damage something there . besides i don't know how it looks like
