Front Heater (Non-Electric)
« on: 23 November 2010, 14:14:37 »

Hi All,

Just seen the upcoming weather forecast and decided it's probably past time to take a look my heaters!

I have a mini facelift 2.5TD with manual heating controls. The passenger side will get toastie warm reasonably quickly and the demist works well but I get very little heat on the drivers side. It will change between cold and luke warm when I turn the dial.

I've read some of the help guides on the site, specifically the one about motor arms but am I right in thinking mine won't have these electric motors? I've looked on the side of the drivers footwell and I can see the linkage at this point move when I turn the dial.

I'm assuming the heater matrix is OK as I can get heat to the passenger side and I'm wondering where else I should be looking?
