Is there a way to re-sync a key to the central locking? do they just 'stop' working sometimes?
Symptoms: Opened the car (remotely) with the key yesterday, drove off to town, wasn't able to lock it remotely, locked with key. Then couldn't unlock, open boot or anything with the remote control - so had to open with key.. which set the alarm off.
Anyway - got back ok - key remote fob has just stopped working.
Spare key works fine still
replaced battery in duff fob - even though it showed no dying battery symptoms - no change
Both keys recently refurbed by the guy on here, no issues since.
Tried turninn on ign. with duff key and pressing some buttons (read something about that re-syncing the keys) - nada
Anyone help me with getting a key working?

If thats the technique.. then I tried that (as noted above) and nothing happens.. hmmm..

I thought you would say that after I re-read your post.
If your sure that the battery is making good connection then I'm afraid you will have to send it back to Martin.

yeah I popped it open and all seems ok.. might go outside and wiggle battery while pressing buttons. Weird that it opened one last time, then stopped. does sound connection related.
