Removed the handbrake cables
« on: 07 December 2010, 09:03:55 »

Handbrake was slighlty stuck on on the other side, found out that the cable was damaged and could not be moved so needed to remove the old ones. In fact easier than I thought. Both front heat shield off (two screws were already snapped) and remove the nyloc nut. I'm not sure if it is necessary bit I removed the nuts in the middle holding the rear heat shields, not needed to remove these shields. Struggling for several hours lying in 15 cm of snow but I managed to remove them! Today I will try to get new ones and fit them...  :)

Point of my post? None, just thought to share the nice experience.  ::)
