It's maybe time for a complete AT fluid change. If you decide on this, do the filter as well.   :y

thanks kneepad i will i dont think its ever been chnaged :S how do i change the filter on on of these any tips? and plus id rather try the cheaper options than pay out for diagnostics at top end labour prices :(

The filter is inside the gearbox sump you''ll see it when you take the sump off. It's held by 3 screws.
There is a guide in maintenance.   :y

Well I don't know what gearbox the 2.2 has, but if you're doing a filter change, as kneepad said the sump will have to come off, which means you will probably need new gasket(s), as when i did mine they were stuck on. You might aswell just do a full oil change at this point.

Here is a guide, but it's for the ar25 and ar35 gearboxes. As said i don't know what gear box the 2.2 has, but this might help you somewhat

As far as I know all automatic Omegas have an AR25 fitted at the factory, apart from the 3.0 and 3.2's which have the AR35.
