eds motorsport specialises in opel/vauxhall but keep in mind that this will cut in half the turbines life

Why would you replace a DTi with a V6? There's 10Nm less torque on the DTi compared to a 3.2 V6 and twice the mileage from a tank (My 3.2 does about 300ish miles to a tank and the DTi does 600ish).

Granted the V6 is smooth and refined but once up to temp the DTi is quiet enough for a diesel and has plenty of acceleration when in the turbo range.

With regard to the OP's tuning question, have a word with Pete. on here. The advice I have received is to decat (the one underneath the floorpan) and get the original ECU remapped. These engines are only as good as the maintenance they have received in their life, plenty of fuel filter changes and oil and oil filter changes in it's life is a good sign.
