right here goes... within a mile of driving the engine light comes on, the car judders like its running out of petrol and the exhaust shakes and theres a loss of power. theres also a slight water leak from somewhere but doesnt seem to use water as the header tank is always on max mark/ and pressurised...  ive got no more hair to pull out but i have got a sledgehammer.. unless anyones got any ideas??

right .. its the yellow exhaust emission light and it stays on permanantly

not too sure but i would check your lambda sensors and maybe your egr valve for starters.

Unplug the MAF and see what it drives like.

Worth a shot, if it drives better, but still not quite right then good chance it's maf issue. But idealy get the codes read. Ideally see MarkDTM in Nottingham, but if it's undriveable then a local mech with a code reader will have to do I guess...?
