Another no heating thread
« on: 26 December 2010, 15:51:43 »

Ive got no heat from my heater at the moment, changed the hbv a couple of weeks back and made the mistake of leaving the heater controls on low  :-[ ,thought the no heat with the new hbv was down to air locks, put controls to hot and undid expansion cap and manipulated hoses to expel any air left in the matrix but still no luck, removed vacuum pipe off of hbv but still no heat,i can get a little bit of warmth after squeezing the top hose after a while, the bottom hose is luke warm so im guessing the matrix is blocked ?,the old hbv was gunked up with  brown muck ( rust ??),im gonna try flushing through the matrix tomorrow but i dont fancy it in this weather  :'(
