debadge and performance chip?????

2 things...1st is does anyone know anyone that can debadge my elite from hampshire??i tried today and got quoted 175 :( :(  2nd is are any of the performace chips on ebay orth getting and easy to fit???

Debadge ???  Do it yerself..simples..

Performance chip....NOT worth the money for the small difference they make...

debadging involves using a hot air gun to melt the glue backing the badges but i thinkg the main vauxhall badge maybe pinned which in that case you would be left with a pair of holes which i geuss you could just put grommets in.

As said before de badge your self, ECU chips eay to fit, more of an MPG improvement than noticed power, dont pay too much for one.

Debadging is a great way of disguising a low end model.

Elite is top end - people will now think you have put Elite wheels on a 2.0GLS

if you can take the back ones off for 5 quid i would be happy..let me know when tour free and either come here or ill pop to you..cheers..and you right i dont really care what people think..when i leave them standing there the ones looking stupid  ;D ;D ;D

As the main reason for debadging is to hide a low spec model I think having the word Elite and the 3.0 badge gives a tiny bit of satisfacation.

It isn't like the car is plastered in words, and also the worst looking bit is the V grill.

Chipping, it all depends, some work some don't.

best tuning would be 2.6/3.2 exhaust manifolds - they flow a lot better
