Bumpers
« on: 16 February 2011, 11:45:43 »

Hi, Can anyone tell me if the Omega bumpers, front / rear, are interchangeable between face lift and pre facelift. I know saloon and estate rear bumpers are different, but what about the fronts? I ask because I am looking for a rear bumper for my face lift Omega in Green Z380. (fat chance I know)   :'(

The front bumper is a different shape to allow for the bonnet shape on facelift so you would need a facelift one for your car.
AFAIK the mounting points are different from what I can remember on pre facelift.

rear bumper will fit but will have the black rubbing strip
front bumper on a pre is totally different
i.e the grill is in the bumper not bonnet, headlights are different and the trim under headlights is different also  :y

Hi,
F/L Rear Bumpers will go on a prefacelift car but you will need the F/L backing bar to mount it on. This is what I have on my Pre F/L Estate.

I think the F/L bumpers are much nicer, I'd stick with the same sort for your car - they are, after all, paintable and look (to me anyway) more modern.

See what can be found at the Scrappy.

Good luck.

Matthew

Many thanks for your help,
I don't know the difference between Z380 & Z382. Is there a chart somewhere where I can compare the colours? How much is he asking for the bumper btw.

Many thanks for the offer, but I see you are in Essex so the cost of posting will no doubt shove the cost up a fair bit.
