vaux shows?
« on: 22 January 2008, 20:52:40 »

just wondered if anyone else off here is going to pv or billing in the summer.

i've been to both a couple of times over the last few years and had a good laugh. i recommend billing if you've got kids, i took my lot and they loved it.

billing i would really recommend......

Fantastic weekend, i generally get up there on the friday afternoon/eve and am there until sunday afternoon.

show is a two day affair, lots of trade stands and autojumble, all of the vauxhall/opel/bedford car clubs are there and there is a wide variety of cars.
plenty for the family to do as well, Billing aquadrome is very family oriented, i take little Jay W and she loves it.
Can also get a good nights sleep, the place isn't overrun with boyracers blasting round the site drunk at night.

I have a feeling my annual holiday is that weekend, if it isn't and the weather even looks like it might be dry, i wil be there with my daughter

I have been going to Billing for the past 3 years, this year will be my 4th year, only problem with the Billing show is that its on the same weekend as the british F1GP, which causes problems for some folk. Nevertheless, it is a great weekend at Billing for families aswell everyone is catered for, loads for the Kids and adults, don't even need to take food with you takeaways and breakfast on site, including resturants. :y

that's exactly why i wouldn't even think about taking the girls to pv.

are you gonna be on a club stand at billing jay?

not this year, i will go up as general public.....

Used to go up with either Mk2cav.com or Mig, don't go on either forum these days and you have to be a paid up member in order to get tickets

ABS have a stand there, luckily due to the flooding last year only club members were allowed, luckily only recently joined ABS, so came in well handy :y

Would be good if we could get a few miggy's there this year ::)

Thanks! That looks rather good. When is the show? The website doesn't have a calendar.
