Squealing front brakes
« on: 10 March 2011, 18:37:35 »

Had new pads and discs fitted 2000 miles ago. Over the last few weeks noticed a squealing whilst driving which goes when i apply the brake.

It sound to me like they need cleaning but any other suggestions?

Squealing when not braking? That's a new one on me I must say.

I might check the piston is not seized/retracts when pedal is released, or that the pads are seated correctly.

What parts fitted? Gm?   :-/
