baffled re noise

migs behaving ok, no probs except when driven a loud rattling type noise seems to come from the engine bay. its not the engine. i cant hear it when stationary. brakes, steering & exhaust are ok. and by pulling at things i cant find anything loose.  :-/ pls any ideas  :y

Lost any sockets recently? There is an E12 female torx socket in my engine bay somewhere. Any metal pipework vibrating against other metal part e.g. inner wings?  :y

As others have said check the springs/drop links, heat sheilds.
does it sound worse when you hit the lunar landscape of our brittish roads ;D :y
