hi all new to omega just got 03 plate coolent check light on but level ok can any one thanks

Hi welcome to the mad house.
Its more than likley to be the sensor in the water bottle.
Try giving it a poke :y

Hello Terry & Welcome to the OOF  :y
Try taking the coolant tank cap off (when cold!) & push the float down a few times in case it is sticking. Also you should check that the multiplug underneath the tank is fitted tightly. To do this pull off the steel spring clip holding the tank to the wing & slide the tank an inch or so in towards the engine & it will be free of its holder. Lift it slightly & you will see the plug. Refitting is reverse of above. If neither of these is a fix you may need a replacement tank as the float switch will be goosed.  HTH  :y

As hoofing says, the float inside the header tanks isn't.  ;) You might get a little more life out of it by soaking the whole tank in a caustic solution, but the real cure is a new tank IIRC around £35 .............. and it'll look nice & shiny & new!  ;) ;) ;) :y
