Can anyone tell me if a 427 ECU will run in a TD that had a 428?
I realise that it would need Tech2 anyway, but just wonder if there is any other reason why it would not. :-/

I dont think it will, ive got a chipped 427 here but cant try it on mine as mines an old 214. :'(

THe 428 ecu is for an automatic and the 427 is manual,i dont know if there inter changable but why make two types :-/
