My 98 Auto 2.5 Elite  car has the Bosch model part number of  0 273 004 206. Is yours an auto or a manual? You won't know the number for sure till you get the unit off or get a mirror and a light in there.

How do I know? The reconditioned ECU is sitting unused in my office. I have decided to scrap the car.

You have several options.

1. Buy a S/H similar one off a similar car. Maybe cost you £50  plus postage . I have had three fail on my car and the last time I paid £50 for a S/H one that lasted a month. They are all old and getting to the point of failing.

2. Send yours off for reconditioning to somewhere like BBA REman or ECU testing in Nottingham. Cost about £135 incl postage.

3. Buy my recon unit with nearly 2 years guarantee. Just swap it over and be mobile again. Make me a reasonable offer. I'll even include a bolt so you know what you are dealing with! :y
