Warning Light Problem
« on: 12 June 2011, 23:34:28 »

Hi can anyone help me out I've got an 03 plate omega driving out tonight in heavy rain the warning light came on with the picture of a car with a spanner.I turned the engine off then back on again and the light didn't come back on.Had to go out again 4 hours later and the same thing happened again on the way home.Does anyone have any ideas what this might be.Is the car safe to drive or is it something serious.PS The car does drive great.

you have an intermittent fault with the engine management,it will need a code reader to determine what fault is present

Could be a number of things, potentially associated with the rain, possible not.

In my experience, leaving these issues in the hope they go away only leads to complications later, so it needs a code reader on it to ascertain why the ECU decided to bring on the light :)
