auto box problems??

stays in gear far to long...then screams up the revs b4 finding gear...help :(

seems to be always mate..stuck at lights earlier on a bit of a hill..would hardly pull off..and that was after 20 mile drive...thx 4 reply by the way

seems 2 pull off ok and finds 2nd gear easily but then screams up the revs trying 2 get into 3rd gear..when it finally do its fine!!...but then earlier struggled 2 even pull off on a bit of a hill.

Sorry, I meant NO text speak, my mistake.

First thing you need to do is get the autobox fluid levels checked, but if its been like this for a while, damage could have been done.

Do you get Automatic Gearbox come up on display?

Keep hopin mate they are usually useless! Good luck though, fluid and filter change works a treat but as TB says best caught early

I really would recommend you use somebody who has the faintest idea of the car. That will rule out Halfords, formerly Nationwide, who have a deserved reputation for being a bunch of useless retards.

Where are you, its possible you are near one of the Omega repairers on this site, who I'd recommend over and above any fast-fit place like Halfords, or even Main Dealers.

Id save your money personally. one of the OOF mechanics may be able of have a look instead of halfrauds, depending on your location :y :EDIT: The boy beat me to it  ;D

thanks for the tip guys ..wasnt quite sure where to take it..seen halfords website ..looked ok..but i havnt got a clue lol..i am in newport sth wales
