OBD2/EOBD Code readers?

Does anyone know whether a 2000Wreg 2.5 V6 car is OBD2 compliant? I'm thinking of buyng a code reader.

So does that mean I can't get a code reader for my Omega? All the ones I've seen reviewed talk about OBD2/EOBD.
