Temp rising rapidly is fairly normal under high boost conditions, i.e big hill or hard acceleration,
but although it rises rapidly it only goes on mine from 90 to 95,
looks a lot more as its a big lump on the gauge!! but as long as it goes back down fairly rapidly when at the toip of the hill or cruising there is nothing to worry about!!
temp today was 35 and it run all day at 92 rising to 95/96 up the huge hill from the coast!! :y

Is your VF still fitted?

absolutley!! wouldnt risk it here mate, found the fuse for the cooling fans blown the otherday, the viscous helos tremendously in this heat out here
