X1 connector

Anyone know where this connector lives? I know it's in the footwell but TIS is a bit vague as to which side. I'm trying to get the sat nav working and now need to check the wiring loom . Vehicle is a 98 Omega Elite Estate (mini-facelift).

THanks for that although it turns out the problem isn't there . It appears that pin 8 isn't connected to the wire in the sat nav display unit plug. Which brings me to supplementary questions. Is it possible to dismantle these plugs (it's a white 12 way plug with a swing-over clamp) or does anyone have that bit of the sat nav loom? Only need the plug and couple of inches of wire to splice in. All the other connectiions are fine.
