I am curious would it be possible to set MID to display functions in English language, yet to keep litres/100 km when calculating consuption.

Don't quote me, but yes I think it is possible.

Those that know these things would be able to advise properly.

Certainly the older type can (radio/date line above fuel computer line).  Need to check the newer type, but believe its possible.

Thanks. Am a bit late with checking the answers.
And some more questions related to MID: how many versions of the software were there and what's the difference? And what number should be desplayed for wheel size 225/55R16?

Depends - do you have earlier type MID (radio info line about computer lines) or later (computer lines at top)?

radio info is above computer lines. TheBoy, can you also confirm that this type ALWAYS has 2 cables at the back? Will have to replace it cause pixels are gone - cannot even recognize radio station any more

Yup, it has a yellow and a black connector.  Also, this type more prone to pixel problems.  Not too much config on this type - just engine size and gearbox type, unlike the later type, so easier to find one that matches your car without reprogramming
