MID is dim
« on: 11 May 2008, 18:57:50 »

Finally got mum's car on the road. with only one outstanding issue, which is the MID display seems to be dim, with the sidelights on it does vary the brightness of the screen and all pixels are working but even in normal day light it is hard to read, unlike mine which is very bright.
Am I just looking at changing bulbs (lamps for the more technical) or is it something more sinister like a failing MID unit ?
Oh yes mum's car is 1999 2.5 V reg mini facelift.

Thanks

Mike
