Botched wiring (ie, its always got ign on signal)?  Stuck buttons?

No buttons stuck, and it turns off after about 8 seconds after the igntion is turned off

At long last Ive think Ive found the issue...

If I adjust the the passenger side first, it changes them both, so it's been set for a LHD...

I called the stealership and the recon it took so long to get because it came from germany, hence been LHD, they will get me a UK one ASAP but there is none showing in stock any where...

Now I called bullshit on this and said, your Tech2 should be able to change this.

They say there "tech2" wont fit a omega

I made some coment about the OBD socket been a standered fit but they insist on replacing the panel...

So 'dangle berries' to them, I'll live with it because like hell I'll let them in the dash again

They cant order a UK one, there is no such thing.

They are supplied in un-programmed state from the factory and they need to set the variant info using tech 2 and thier tech2 will fit (if it wont then they dont have one!).

Only takes 5 mins to do, dead easy!

OH MY GOD. "tech 2 does not fit!"
I'd rather let the local hoodies work on my car. How can a dealer not have tech 2? Inept incompetent spakers.

Isn't there another dealer you can go to?
Do you ever venture near Ellesmere Port? If you do I can give you the name of one of their service dept staff. He DOES know about Omegas (& Vx's in general) He'd be able to sort it out  - he has his TechII too.

That would concern me as obviously they dont know what they are doing......and also i believe a replacement climate panel has to be calibrated to the outside temp sensor.....with a tech2..
