Aftermarket headunit
« on: 19 August 2008, 17:27:43 »

When i get all the cables and bits etc im going to put my Alpine headunit in the omega. But im a bit stuck with where to put me KCA420 ipod interface unit thingy, also where to have the dock connector where to come out. My ideas for the dock connecter are out the small cubby hole in the facia adaptor (under headunit) but still no idea where to put the box thing. In my corsa B i had the box in a tray under the seat with the ipod there too, but the omega doesnt seam to have an underseat tray.

Also what is the best colour facia adaptor to get? i have a silver dash but there buttons are sorta a darker grey so i dont know if black or silver will look better :S

why don't you put it in the driver side stowage compartment next to the fuse box?
