Replace my Single CD/Radio with a 6 Disc Changer..
« on: 30 September 2008, 17:40:56 »

I currently have have asingle cd/radio   system in my car. I have seen this player on ebay and got quite interested, but i have got one question.
Will this be a straight forward swap? Also as the new changer/radio has no code, a trip to the dealers is a must. What kind of money will be i be looking at?

This is the changer i am interested in. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=250299488921#ebayphotohosting

My car is a facelift 2002 CD model. Thanks

in my opinion its way overpriced since it has no code, but they're a good unit, only a 4 disc changer tho not 6. i'm still in thought as to whether to get one myself yet

I agree about the overpriced - If we had any, we would charge around that money, but ours would be fully serviced, include the code and come with a three months warranty

There's one here...........

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Philips-CCR2006-Double-Din-4-Disk-multi-Changer_W0QQitemZ320306191237QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item320306191237&_trkparms=39%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A10%7C240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

But from personal experience I wouldn't bother as the magazines are very tempermental..........I changed my CCR 2006 for a single slot as the magazine wouldn't engage in the changer.

Aye, i wouldn't want to be paying anymore than £80-100 for one, not that great....and they do require a different cage fitted.

.....but they do look pretty gash in gunmetal grey fitted to a migster  :-?
