Another CCRT 2008 question I'm afraid - Sorry!
« on: 04 January 2009, 14:10:30 »

I've just noticed on my new CCRT 2008 unit that it keeps switching off. However, a small push to the front panel seems to do the trick and it comes back on. But then it could go off again. My thoughts are that when the unit was removed someone gave the fascia a good tug and has weakend the connection. It doesn't appear to be a robust unit.

SO my question is, is it fairly easy to fix up the connection, maybe a bit of solder or something? Don't know whether anyone has done it before.

Many thanks for the ongoing CCRT 2008 help.

not sure about ccrt, but ncdc type use a poor plug to connect 2...

Might be worth cleaning up the removable panel connectors as well.

Check for dry joints at the rear of the on/off switch
